Showing in American Kennel Club (AKC), United Kennel Club (UKC), Canadian Kennel Club (CKC). Participating in Obedience, Agility, Tracking, Rally Obedience and Schutzhund.

Teaching Other People to Train Their Own Dogs

  • 45 Years teaching group Basic and Advanced Obedience lessons
  • Many of my students have put obedience titles on their dogs
  • 30 Years teaching 4-H Obedience classes. My 4-H students participate and earn placements in county and state level 4-H and AKC Dog Shows.
  • Service Dog training. I have done training for people who own their dog and want it trained for Mobility Assistance, Hearing Assistance and Emotional Support.

My Philosophy

I use motivational methods, i.e. food, toy and praise. I prefer food training, and that's the main idea behind my 10¢ Method to Training Your Dog™ I also advocate teaching your dog each exercise. I don't correct a dog until I know he understands what I want.
